This week in Monterey, you can experience a 50’s and 60’s theme fundraiser that is full of nostalgia. Max’s Helping Paws Foundation is hosting “Paws for a Cause”, a drive-in movie theatre event at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center. Throughout the week, the non-profit foundation will show videos, share stories, and end the event with a concert from a local favorite, The Money Band.
The fundraiser event aims to raise money to help pets experiencing health crises. It is one of the most significant events held by Max’s Helping Paws Foundation this year, a non-profit organization that has helped several sick animals during the pandemic. It is no surprise that the pandemic created several financial challenges, one of them being costs that are associated with pet’s health care bills. This foundation helps pet owners afford the health care services their animals need. Due to their help, several animals have been able to avoid euthanasia.
